Central Luzon Conference Office, Malabon City – The Central Luzon Conference (CLC) Communication Department spearhead by Pastor Sherman Fiedacan, OIC for Communication seeks to intensify its information drive and maintain mutual cooperation with the media by providing on-time and accurate reports of incidents. Thus, the Communication Department conceptualized the two-day basic news writing seminar-workshop for all office secretaries.
“We have to train our office secretaries to learn the craft of news writing to help our constituency get and be informed of reports, especially on matters not known to them,” Administrative Assistant for Administration and lecturer, Armon Tolentino, said.
The training was held at Central Luzon Conference Office with 12 participants.
Pastor Fiedacan, also tackled the topic on secretary-media relations and “on-line publishing” during the seminar.
“We will also provide assistance and closely supervise the participants even after the training,” Pastor Fiedacan said adding that the program is advocating “skill-transfer” so that every personnel will soon learn the craft of news writing.
