On Mar. 8, 2009, 37 Vacation Bible Students (VBS) students passed the requirements and were called princes and princesses of God as they marched with their parents and teachers in Janosa Island, Binangonan, Rizal.
"If you want to visit with one of the great zoo's that you have never seen," the guest speaker, Rizal 3 District Pastorchallengedthe kids, parents and visitors. "...we must behave as a royal sons and daughters of God [and] we must live a life of holiness just as our royal Father lives."The VBS started on Jan. 25, 2009 through four members of Montevilla Church who were accompanied by a new Adventist denomination member,Madel Magpantay, for the enrolment that resulted to 50 children. In seven consecutive Sundays the program called "Castle and Crowns" was instrument in the children's learning of new video songs ,daily scheduled memory verses, storytelling about the life of kings and queens in the Old Testament, finger play to get the attention of the kids and behaving as little princes and princesses of the kingdom of heaven.
"It is enjoyable to be with those kids while serving them for the Lord's work," Matet Estalia of Montevilla
Adventist Church said."I feel so tired but I am so happy that they are interested to learn a lot from simple things we teach."
"I hope that someday they will become Adventists and good leaders of the church," Riza Grace Librado of the same church said.
Crowned Jewels.Vacation Bible School Students (VBS) graduates on March 8, 2009 in Janosa Island, Binangonan Rizal. The event portrayed their readiness to accept the challenge of becoming the children of the most respected family of God.
