NPUC-wide Bible Conference starts Direction Setting for 2018

Posted July 24, 2017 • By CLC Communication Department

Today marks the first official day of the union-wide Ministerial Bible Conference of the North Philippines, headed by the Ministerial Association of the host institution, expecting over 450 ministers and workers from all over the territory, from July 23-28, 2017 in Mountain Provinces Mission Multipurpose Hall, Baguio City.

Ministers from the different conferences and missions came in the City of Pines with an increasing number yesterday, July 23, to support and participate in the Bible Conference that only happens once in every quinquennium.

Pastor Israel Andoy, Ministerial Secretary of the North Philippine Union Conference (NPUC), expresses his insights on what the attendees might witness this day. “The NPUC administration are bound to set the direction for the remaining four years of the leadership, highlighting the Philippine-wide evangelism in 2018,” Andoy said. This day is allotted for the NPUC directors to present departmental plans in relation to the Philippines for Christ 2018, with Dr. Bienvenido Mergal for the Southern Asia-Pacific Division evangelism setting.

With the theme patterned in the 2017 thrust of the World Church “Christ our Righteousness,” the organizers are regarding this timely event to contribute into transforming our ministerial workers into a compassionate, teachable individual grounded and rooted in Christ’s righteousness.

The Ministerial Bible Conference is a series of lectures that aims to equip and encourage pastors to remain Biblically-grounded and founded while facing issues the church as a whole encounters.

The North Philippine Union Conference covers seven missions and conferences in Luzon, namely: Central Luzon Conference, South Central Luzon Conference, Mountain Provinces Mission, Northern Luzon Mission, Northeastern Luzon Mission, Southern Luzon Mission, and Palawan Adventist Mission.
